As a lifelong maker, I have come to discover a connection between grieving and artmaking. This artmaking leans heavily on the heritage of craftsmanship which is my ancestral lineage, of which I continue to be an apprentice and thus requires many hours of dedication.
So it is, that part of the work of beautybound by Riverssong, is to offer handmade gatherings of cloth, thread, word and image to help the grieving, the beautiful tear-soaked rememberings and longings for the world, its people, its animals, plants, water, air, earth… to happen.
